I tried the XF compound at Randy's on Saturday night
Had them on my Group 5 and my Early Lemans cars
A B'd them against Supertires on the two cars
Supertires were better in both cases

Thank you gentlemen. Is XF the soft or extra hard tire? Seems kinda weird that most tires are only available in one compound or the other. And for a company that wants to run Super Tires out of the market, they don't have many tires available. Were they usable, or just not even close? Most of us have run Maxx Tracks and Indy Grips, not our first choice, but usable enough if there is no other option, would these be in the same category?

XF = Xtra Firm.
The softer compound has no designation.
They were well above "useable"
Probably about a tenth off the Supertires at Randy's.
I've found them to be better at some tracks, worse on others.
I'm probably not the best person to judge their performance
Most would consider them to be equal to Supertires
I'm not your typical racer,
I'm never satisfied.
Always looking for that last tenth.

Are the 'soft' ones similar to the 'Gel Claws' that fall off of the rims?
