Does anyone know the name of the new place that opened up on Ogden Ave? Or have the address? Want to head there tomorrow and need to know about where it is. :DB):D

I think your talking about Chicagoland Raceway, which is Mike Swiss's place. He moved from Downers Grove to someplace on Ogden Ave. If you go there, say Hi to Mike.

You're definitely going to want to call Mike first, he may not stock what you're looking for.

Found the place, he is still working on setting it up. He did say he misses the club playing there on Friday nites as in the past. Had to be before my joining, but am not against going there as a club and having some fun. B):DB)

Yes Larry, he is a business after all and in the past he has charged for track time.

Would our $5 a car "kitty" fee cover it or does he have a flat fee?

That would be up to Mike, in the past at commercial raceways we have paid a flat fee, we have also paid a fee per entrant. I think first we would need to see what kind of interest we generate, then contact Mike to see what he would want.

Mike mentioned a pay per person fee, did not talk much about it because I was not involved when the club was doing this. Would be in favor to do it now and then.:pB):p

The only issue is converting the club controllers back to alligator clips. We should come up with a method to simplify that process.
