D.T.M SHOOTOUT CAR RULES

Use club definition (stock), all that is listed under stock (not box stock) can be done to the cars. If it is not in the definition then you can not do it.

DTM: Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, These are generally cars such as the Opel Vectra/Astrada, Mercedes CLK, Audi TT, See stock definition.

Stock: As it came out of the box, you may: True tires and wheels, Oil and grease as needed, Remove front and rear axle slop (no chassis mods), Add lead, Coat the front tires, Change lead wires and braids as needed, Glue in motor, Glue in bushings. Use silicone tires, Change body screws, Install solid front axle, Use low profile front tires, Create chassis rock.

Chassis Rock: Creating the ability to make the chassis rock or pivot on the body posts and body screws. This is done by (if needed) shaving the lower portion of the interior and removing a small undetectable amounts of body and chassis so it is not to rub and limit chassis movement. Also if possible reattach any of the parts that were removed. And if needed using shoulder screws. In this the less you do the better off you are.

Shaving: (not gouge, cut, saw, grind, hack, and or rip) removing small undetectable amounts of plastic from the cars chassis and interior parts.

Tire Truing: Is to make the tire and or the rim of the car round by sanding or turning it down.

True Down: Is the tire a smaller diameter than stock so it is of or just touching the track
Surface.

Tire Coating: Is to coat the front tire with glue or nail polish etc… so that the front tire has little or no traction.

Shoulder Screw: Is a screw that the threads of the screw do not go all the way to the head of the screw. This allows the chassis the ability to slide on the screw without binding on the threads.

Car numbers: Yes they are a must have

Motor: any can be used that fit into the chassis

Chassis mods: limited to can to end bell conversions

Ride height: no touchy the tracky
