EVENT
AMERICAN LE MANS SERIES AT KOELLER INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
DESCRIPTION
AN A.L.M.S. type series consisting of 12 races over a 6 week period, alternating between Thursday and Saturday nights with two races per night. There will be two classes, one being L.M.P (Le Mans Prototype) and the other being GT (Grand Touring Production Sedans). You must run both classes each night! This series is designed as an enthusiast’s event created to improve every ones driving, building and tuning skills; this series is an open event.
TEAMS
You may have a two man team but it is not required, a team counts as on entrant. Team members may NOT race in the same race, 1 member per race. In the event of a team member’s absence, the other team member may race both nightly races.
ENTRY FEES AND PRIZES
Entry fee is $20.00 per person ($10.00 per team member) All entry fees collected will apply to the series prizes. (Track fund and soda donations are separate)
SCORING AND AWARDS
Winners will be determined by the number of feet run during the entire series. Each individual entry counts as one entrant, each team counts as one entrant. Prizes are awarded per entrant (winning teams my split their prizes). Six of the twelve races will count towards the entrants final standings, each entrant must run at least Six races (three must be L.M.P and three GT) each entrant may run all twelve races. (Six count and six drops) entry forms will be provided prior to each race and must be completed. To allow for proper scoring each form will contain Team name (if applicable) Driver name, Car make and model, and Class. Prize break down is as follows: a 1st 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded for each class L.M.P and GT (prizes depend on how many entries)
RACE RULES AND STATISTICS
1: All entrants must run both classes each night; each race will be run with both classes mixed together. Teams must run 1 class per driver.
2: All heats will be five minutes with European rotation
3: All repairs must be made under the green flag (not between heats)
4: All racers must be present and required to marshal
5: Drivers may be black flag for over aggressive driving
6: Drivers may be black flagged for to many de-slots
7: Black flag’s are the race director sole decision
8: Lane stickers will be provided and placed on the bottom of the car
9: No chemicals of any kind will be allowed on the tires

CAR RULES
1: You must use STOCK BODY (You may add mounting points)
2: Body must be painted no raw plastic (clear coat is ok)
3: You may create you own decals
4: All cars must have A.L.M.S type numbers and sponsors
5: All car must have an interior (lexan is ok but must be detailed)
6: All cars must have a driver
7: You may use stock or H.R.S chassis (no lightning)
8: You may use any motor up to 22,000 rpm
9: You may use any gears
10: You may use any wheels (non stock must have inserts)
11: You may use any tire
12: You may use any guide flag (commercial flags are to deep)
13: You may have as many cars as you like
14: You may not switch during a race
15: All major body parts must be attached during a race
16: You may NOT use any traction enhancing chemicals on the tires
17: You may use braid juice (moderation please)
