Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made this event possible, from those in attendance to those who organized and assisted. Special thanks to Frank for the outrageous amount of time he personally gave to put this race together and for the generous hospitality of him and Rebecca. It was fun (racing), sometimes frustrating (breaking) and now finally finished, with a lot of teamwork and comradery that hopefully brought us closer together as a slot car club.
Hope to see as many of you as possible at the DTM Challenge this Friday for some more competitive qualifying (8/15 & 8/29) in advance of the big event on 9/12.
I would like to thank all that came out and raced and we missed those whom could not. A big thanks to the four team captains, Ron K (TEAM FATE) Mike S (GOLDEN EAGLES) AllenE (DIEHARD RACING) Gary K (SLIDERZ), Thanks to mike for makingthe run to my house for the extra stuff, Tanks to Don A and Neal I for some last minute effort. It was a great event and I for one can wait a year for the next one lol.
