Test and tune ,practice will be at Twisters Sat. At 6:00 pm, all event racers are invited to attend . there will be no races this night. I will supply snacks and drinks.

Answering the parts question--- yes you must use stock parts .(Electric Dreams has about the best selection). You may have a backup car but it may be used for parts ONLY . You may also have pre-made assemblys ready (RE-rear axles wheels gear bearings ect....)In the case of a part not being available ,you must use a part that is as close as possible to the original,wheels must be plastic and the same size,gears must be press-on plastic and the same ratio. Cars will teched after the race and cars with replacement parts that are not acceptable will result in disqualification.
I was also asked about headlights, in some cases certain cars dont come with headlights , if the car has clear lenses and mounting brackets you may add headlights (Nissan 350 Z for example), if the car has painted on headlights you may not (Jaguar XKRS). Also I want to make clear the cars must have windows and a full interior ,Scaley has some lower end cars with blacked out windows, these cars are not allowed.

Ok i made a call. i will be there, will also captain if needed, with some help having never done this before. Also have asked a couple of guys i know from work if they would like to be there, they have some experience and might be interested in the club. i'll know for sure later. Hey Ronnie, what are we doing for replacement parts? Stock only? It doesn't really look like real axle assemblies are an easy find anymore. Are you going to allow aftermarket parts for things deemed unrepairable? Or back-up cars?

I'll be there for the early portion of the race, have to work in the evening, so I'd have to leave around 3:30 or so, and most likely would not make it back after. No captaining for me either.
