Scalextric cars: can be widened up 2 3/8ths inches, any gear ratio, motors
be relocated to an inline configuration, lexan drivers are allowed .

I agree. 1961 Ferrari and 1962 Porsche belong in the next era group along with the other Scalextric cars (Lotus & Eagle)

Hey, I rewrote those classifications. And we only had 2 open wheel classes back then. It isn't what the classes are, it's how our hosts refer to them that's been an issue. Even when I think I know what they mean (like this time) I still prefer to clarrify.

You know being an administrator with this club for forever you would think you would have figured out how to use your OWN diccussion forum (car classes) to answer most of your questions.!!! Just saying :-)

Hi ,I am bringing a pasta salad and almond joy cookies.ala Donna.

So far it’s just Chuck with the potato salad and Ramcat with a shrimp plate. If you’d like to bring the cookies Ken that’d be great.

Any idea what anybody besides Chuck is bringing? Not that I have any problem eating cookies for dinner, but a heads up will prevent too much overlap.

I intend to come. Shrimp plate to pass.

FYI: SUNDAY 8/25 is the Geneva "Concours d'Elegance" on Third Street in downtown Geneva, IL 7am - 4pm From Rt 38 South to the train station.
LOTS OF THE GOOD STUFF, and maybe even an MG or two. BS Levy will have a tent and we know several of the Judges wandering about.:p
