Need help to move Bob's Meadowdale track. Meet at his house this Saturday at 10am. Bring cordless drills and/or screwdrivers to help with disassembly. Who can help?

1- Big Lare
2- Ken
3- Gary
4- Bob
5- Phil
6- Mike
Ken
I can bring a cordless drill with bits. I can handle any wiring, disassembly, etc. but no heavy lifting.
F
I have done quite a bit already to get the track ready to move. All borders are off, all wiring has been undone (most of it can stay in place though) and the track is marked where it will be cut.

Once we fire up the saws, it shouldn't take too long. It will come apart in two layers (track and bracing) and then the base. The track and bracing will be in four pieces, each under 4' be 8' with some pieces being 18" deep. They will be heavy, so the more bodies the better.

There is a lot of light weight stuff to take out (borders, driver stations, etc).

If you have ever lost a piece of your car here, when the base is removed, you'll probably find it!!

Can't make any promises, but I may be able to provide a substitute back for heavy lifting after 12:00 if necessary.
Ken
Hey Bob, any luck on those cars Norm and I were looking for?
Ken
So it's going to be me, Larry and Bob? That doesn't sound like much of a plan.
Ken
How will the track be transported? Will it have to be unloaded Saturday in Cary as well?
B
MIRPA is providing a truck to transport to Cary.
The Saw
In.
B
We could use some help unloading in Cary.
Ken
That's better. Lar, have you put the word out to the Meadowdale club for assistance unloading? Obviously we couldn't give them a time until the truck is rolling out, but I'd think you could get at least a couple guys who are in the Cary area to help out unloading if the Elmhurst crew is available.
B
If you have a cordless screwdriver please bring it on Saturday.
F
Ken, you were looking for Scaley Ferrari p4's? Yes, I have two of them

Well, it's gone. End of an era. More cuts then we thought, more crippled old men as a result, but Meadowdale is no more. Thanks for all the memories Bob.
The Saw
I'll say.
B
Thanks Bob for "supervising" the deconstruction. Meadowdale will live on at MIRPA and hopefully attrack some new racers into the club.
F
First it's got to got to get up and running again! Thank to all those that helped. I have no place to test my cars anymore!?
