Im in but what's the recommended chassis and or body for the 1/24 class

I recommend the h&r hrch12 rolling chassis kit. Replace the motor with a slot.it boxer 2 and save the hawk motor for later. I believe we ran dirt cars last new year so a stock car body will suffice. It also comes with silicone tires which will satisfy Randy. You can also use sponge rears.

I guess this will all hinge on how we define sedan. Some say a sedan has 4 doors, in that case I don't think there are any American sedan slot cars. If we use the 3 box theory (enclosed vehicle with an engine compartment, passenger compartment and cargo area) then any hardtop american car qualifies.

I'm not sure who is aware, but Super Tires and Quicks Slicks both make tires to fit the H&R ribbed wheels (and non-ribbed as well). Im pretty sure we can get both to out run silicone coated foam.

Well, the amount of work and secret formulas required to make foam tires work well should make them illegal way before coated foam.
