I thought I'd let everyone know what is going on with my health. I wasn't trying to hide it but I just now thought to let everyone know some of the details.
On New Year's Eve, at about 2pm, I started having chest pains and pressure. Denise called the ambulance and they took me over to St. Joseph's Hospital in Joliet.
They put in a second stent ( I had a heart attack 8 years ago and they put in the first stent at that time ) and an angioplasti. So I have 2 stents and about 6 other arteries around my heart that are very restricted.
I am scheduled for bypass surgery on Feb. 7th and will be out of commission for at least 6 weeks.
But I plan on getting back to racing as soon as possible.
For those of you that did know, thanks for all your kind words and support.
