Who has one or more ........, and what are they?

Just a question I want to pose to see the viability of racing certain cars. I'm renowned throughout the area, and very proud of, possessing one of the largest collections of crappy cars in the area. As such I'd like to see if any one else in our club is willing to admit to owning any of these questionable racers as well. I won't use the term car because our esteemed president refuses to refer to some of the aforementioned racers in such terms. He may even object to the term racer, I'm sure I'll receive a PM.

To get things started I'd like to ask the following;

Does anyone own one or more Carrera Classics and what are they?

I will admit to owning the collection of Jag D's, a Maserati, Mercedes 300 SLR, Aston Martin DB3 & DB5, and a couple 166's.

We enjoy racing the Ninco Classics but the Carrera Classics don't seem to be competitive with them. So are there enough of them out there hidden in the backs of race boxes, shelves, closets, attics, or sock drawers to be brought into the daylight and pitted against one another?
I myself would prefer to race them in the stock configuration with the PPR 1300's.

I like the fact that were looking into Group 5 cars and would like to see what other possibilities are out here as well as finding out the different types we would like to put on the track. So after your done digging around looking for those racers hidden away and you've discovered some other neglected vehicles, I challenge you to come on back and ask the question...

Who has one or more ........, and what are they?

Thanks,

For the most part I only buy what I can race. With the occasional deal I just couldn't pass up. But no vintage Carrera Classics here either. Sounds like Gary has enough cars to sell us all one, I'd pay four bucks a D type.

How about inline Scaly Nascars? The problem you'll run into with anything the long term guys have, is the newer guys won't have them anyway. Oh, oh, oh I know, Artin Nascar. Economical, still available, most of us have one, I think it's Neal's favorite car, can't believe he hasn't tried to add the class before.

I have a Carerra D Jag only because I like the car.

Ken,
This is how I addressed the Artin situation. I wouldn't mind racing them either. Cheap, available on e-bay, great car to experiment with decals and paint on if your a rookie like me.

And if I have a Carrera Classic in my collection that I paid $4 for I'd be glad to part with it for you. Not That I paid that much more.

I do have a line on 4 more Jag D's for $20/racer though!
